Have you ever wondered if you could make your own jewelry? The answer is yes you can. It requires some basic tools and materials, and techniques that are relatively easy to learn. If you want to make your own jewelry, you're already halfway there.
The basic tools needed to string a chain are, bracelet or anklet: needle nose pliers (tongs resemble, but do not hatch inside of the cheeks) andsemi-flush cutters (nippers). You can also find a tool crimp bead to be useful but not absolutely necessary. It makes a real crimp, but is a bit 'harder to use than flat pliers.
The basic services required are: flexible stringing wire (some call it cable), and crimp clasps (lobster claw, hook and eye, move, boxes, etc.). By far the easiest way to build a piece of jewelry wire and crimp beads. You do not need needlesTopics, glue and bead tips. You still have to do knots experts.
The funny thing about all this is the selection of pearls from which you make your jewelry. Almost every bead can be transformed into beautiful jewelry. The pearls are available in different shapes (round, oval, square, triangular, star-shaped, etc.), materials (types of natural stone, wood, plastic, glass, bone, ceramic, metal, etc.) and all the colors of 'rainbow.
Sometimes it is best to put your pearls before startingInsert the cable. You can make a bead board for those with one or more grooves in it, or simply use any material that does not notice the beads to move freely. Some people prefer the design as they go. Are at the center front of the chain (the focal point, usually but not always, a special pearl) to start and to the left and right, Stringing beads on the wire, as they want.
Flexible stringing wire or cable, there are many different qualitiesand prices. The cable is exactly what it says. There are many small steel wires braided together and then nylon. The more wires twisted together to bend the more flexible and less likely to be the cable, and more expensive. The cheapest cable are twisted in only three boards together. I recommend you buy them. They are too hard, your chain has a good drape. In addition, they bend slightly at most. You can buy cables with seven-wire, 19, 21 and 49 wires. For mostPurpose, seven and 19 wires cable will be sufficient. Cable is also expressed in different diameters, mostly as a thousandth of an inch. They vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, but still close enough to each other. A good average is universally diameter .014 "or .015".
Now you know how much cable you need for the project. A good rule is to cut a piece of wire (use your wire cutters, scissors, regular cable ruin) is six centimeters long thatLength of the finished jewel. If you already know what your project, you can attach one half of the fastener at one end of the cable and use it as a stopover for your pearls. Or you could just a piece of tape at one end of the cable. If you do not know how to go from the design center, you might want (bruised small springs that can be opened and take the ends of the cable lock) a couple of small purchases guardians caterpillar. They are easy and fast to remove and keep the bad accidentshappens.
Fasten the hook and crimp beads requires pliers. Crimp beads or pearls, silver, 14 karat gold filled and brass, which has been plated with silver or copper, or left to reach the level. They also have a variety of shapes (round and tubes are common) and size. The tube of 2 mm x 2 mm is my favorite and works well with the diameter of the cable that I mentioned. They must be crushed and basically all you need to do is crush the chain nose plierson the cable.
First, put a crimp end of the cable. Then put half of the buckle on the cable. Go back through the crimp. Push the crimp in the vicinity of the junction. Leave enough of a cycle, so that the shutter moves freely. Do this so that the left end of a short-inch long. Now crush the crimp bead. Keep the long end of the cable in one hand and the bracelet to the other. Pull the buckle and be careful not to slip the cable into the crimp beads. Do not let the short cutinch tail. This is your assurance. Simply return the first string some beads on the short term with the entire length of the cable. String all your beads on the wire.
A note on cable, bend it all, no matter what you might say. To bypass the cable with a little 'attention and try not to bend as you work. Natural pearls are hiding, the finished piece is just a quirk in it. If your company jewels, guaranteeing down, his, has been carefully, so thatnot articulated in the field. Also you want freshwater pearls string, you must have a smaller diameter cable. A diameter of .012 "or 0.013" should be sufficient.
Attaching the last half of the closure is a bit 'more complicated. Use the same procedure as defined above, but you must add a couple of steps to be sure not to lose, and that no cable is to show the pearls of the finished piece. Place the crimp on the wire and the second half of the closure. Go back throughCrimp beads and about an inch worth of pearls. Hold the piece in the air in the second half of the shutter and let the force of gravity all the beads to the bottom. Pulling on the cord where it comes from the customs value of pearls, you have all the slack removed from the workpiece. Do not pull so hard that you leave the form of improved control. Now crush the crimp bead. Cut the tail of cables, as you can. Ta-daa. Do you have a finished piece of jewelry.
And another suggestion, not a cord witha large hole near the crimp bead. The CRIMP may bore its way into the job and then you will lose cable show in the game and develop.
With a little 'determination and have too much cash, you can learn to make your own jewelry. I found it very satisfying and useful at Christmas and birthdays and the like. Have fun. Be creative.
